Darren G Andre
Founder

Darren G Andre

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Activated Mobile Solutions
Creator of MATILDA

Darren G. Andre is the Founder and CEO of Activated Mobile Solutions and the creator of MATILDA, the company’s personalized health intelligence platform. He leads MATILDA’s vision, platform strategy, and long-term growth, drawing on more than a decade of experience in artificial intelligence, SaaS development, cloud infrastructure, software engineering, and user experience design.

Darren recognized a significant gap between the amount of health information being collected and the value people can actually derive from it. Health data is often distributed across disconnected systems, organized around individual conditions, and presented without the daily context needed to understand what may have influenced a result. MATILDA was created to close that gap by transforming fragmented health signals into personalized, longitudinal intelligence that individuals and care teams can more readily understand and use.

MATILDA:1, focused on type 2 diabetes, is the first module in a broader platform strategy. Darren’s long-term vision is to develop an extensive ecosystem of condition-specific modules through collaborative partnerships, all connected to a central intelligence hub. As the ecosystem grows, MATILDA will be able to examine relationships across supported conditions, medications, behaviors, routines, and outcomes. This approach creates opportunities to reveal connections that isolated applications and episodic care models may overlook, while building a richer foundation for clinical insight, medical research, and informed diagnostic decision-making.

Before creating MATILDA, Darren led technology initiatives across commercial and government environments through Activated Mobile Solutions. His experience includes directing multidisciplinary development teams, advising startups on practical applications of artificial intelligence, and helping organizations such as BMW, Motorola, Best Buy, and DARPA evaluate and implement advanced technology solutions.

Behind Darren’s platform vision is a deeply human objective. He believes people should not have to become experts in disconnected data simply to understand their own health. His goal is for MATILDA to help individuals recognize what is happening in their bodies, understand how their daily lives may be shaping their health, and participate in care with greater clarity and confidence. Darren’s aim is for MATILDA to give patients and clinicians a shared, continuously developing picture of what is happening between appointments and why it may matter.

Kyle Kirkpatrick
Operations

Kyle Kirkpatrick

Chief Operating Officer, Activated Mobile Solutions

Kyle Kirkpatrick is the Chief Operating Officer of Activated Mobile Solutions. He brings health technology program management and organizational coordination to MATILDA, with a focus on translating business priorities into sustained execution. His experience spans the teams handling health data and the leadership decisions that determine how their work moves forward.

At Activated Mobile Solutions, Kyle has worked across medical and technical teams, customers, and executive leadership on type 2 diabetes prototyping and data-pipeline development. His contributions have included aligning technical initiatives with business milestones, translating stakeholder input into project priorities, and identifying risks that could affect delivery. He has also introduced Agile and Scrum practices to support continuous delivery and give teams a clearer framework for managing evolving requirements.

Before joining Activated Mobile Solutions, Kyle worked at Verana Health, where he coached more than seven teams across data operations, integrations, electronic health record mapping, implementation services, and artificial intelligence and machine learning. Working across those functions required an understanding of how decisions in one part of a health-data system affect the work of others. He facilitated planning, decision-making, and conflict resolution, helping teams improve their processes and coordinate releases across a complex technical environment.

MATILDA:1 begins with type 2 diabetes, while the larger strategy calls for condition-specific modules developed through collaborative partnerships. As the platform expands, its operating needs will extend across disciplines and organizations. Kyle’s experience coordinating health-data teams gives him a practical perspective on maintaining delivery commitments as that scope grows, keeping the business moving toward a product that fits daily life and supports more informed care conversations.

Kyle holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Development and Family Studies from Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Scrum Master. He also serves on the board of Family First Health, contributing to decisions involving organizational policy, staffing, and budgets. His community-health involvement adds an organizational perspective beyond software delivery, alongside an academic grounding in how people develop and function within families and communities.

Sim Sodhi
Delivery

Sim Sodhi

Chief Project Manager, Activated Mobile Solutions

Sim Sodhi is the Chief Project Manager of Activated Mobile Solutions. He concentrates on the details that allow software teams to deliver: requirements developers can act on, dependencies resolved before they block progress, and releases prepared for the environments receiving them. His career has combined business analysis with Agile leadership across federal and commercial programs.

For MATILDA, project execution must preserve the intent behind the feature. A food log, a longitudinal view, and a patient-authorized clinician workflow each serve different needs within the same product. Sim’s experience working with product owners, analysts, developers, and testers equips him to keep those needs explicit as work passes from planning through implementation and review.

At Intellibridge, Sim has supported mission-critical Department of Homeland Security systems, leading two cross-functional teams and coordinating planning across a broader development environment. His responsibilities have included resolving dependencies, supporting testing, and guiding deployments through formal release-readiness and change-management processes. He has also helped teams navigate personnel transitions and coached both technical staff and stakeholders in more effective ways of working together.

Earlier, through Clarus Group and Accenture Federal Services, Sim supported federal system modernization and migration to an Azure cloud environment while coaching three delivery teams. At Ampcus, he helped translate requirements for the modernization of more than 150 corporate applications and forms, working with development and quality-assurance teams to preserve business rules and clarify expected behavior. These projects strengthened his ability to manage change without losing sight of the details that determine whether a system works as intended.

Sim holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University. MATILDA’s broader module strategy will introduce new workflows and collaborators alongside the initial type 2 diabetes experience. His project-management perspective emphasizes making that expanding work understandable to the teams doing it, so requirements remain traceable and each release advances the intended experience for the person using the software.

Peter Grasso
Technology

Peter Grasso

Chief Technical Officer, Activated Mobile Solutions

Peter Grasso is the Chief Technical Officer of Activated Mobile Solutions. For MATILDA, his technical perspective starts with what happens behind the screen: how information enters the system, how services respond when conditions change, and how architecture supports a product people can rely on. He brings hands-on experience building healthcare applications and operating the cloud systems that keep them running.

As the lead healthcare engineer at Asymmetrik, Peter worked directly with the challenges of introducing new technology into established care environments. He developed and maintained physician-search and scheduling software, moved sensitive healthcare analytics into cloud infrastructure, and connected new applications with existing electronic health records. During the COVID pandemic, he helped design and deploy testing and vaccination scheduling tools that linked public-facing forms to a clinical system approximately 30 years old. The work demanded speed while preserving the requirements of the systems receiving the information.

Cloud engineering became another major focus of his career. At Red Alpha, Peter planned and implemented AWS migrations, weighing resilience, performance, operating cost, and the complexity of each transition. He built cost-management tools, automated deployment pipelines, and notifications that gave development teams earlier visibility into potential problems. He also worked on large-scale data infrastructure, where maintaining the flow of information required careful attention to redundancy and system behavior.

More recently, his consulting work has included a complete application combining machine learning operations with language-model decision-making, as well as cloud modernization projects. That breadth gives him a view of the full path from an application’s interface to its data processing and deployment.

MATILDA runs its personalized intelligence on an AWS-powered foundation. As individual models change with incoming information, infrastructure must support efficient updates and consistent access across mobile and desktop. Peter’s technical remit sits at that intersection of application behavior and cloud operations, where choices about resilience and resource use will shape how the platform accommodates additional condition-specific modules without adding friction to everyday use.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, and has earned the AWS Golden Jacket designation for achieving all AWS certifications.

Omar Solaiman
Artificial intelligence

Omar Solaiman

Lead AI Engineer, Activated Mobile Solutions

Omar Solaiman is the Lead AI Engineer at Activated Mobile Solutions. His work draws on more than a decade of engineering experience spanning machine learning, signal processing, and distributed software. He approaches artificial intelligence as part of a working system, with attention to the information a model receives, the way its outputs are used, and the engineering required to keep those connections functioning.

Within MATILDA, that system is organized around an individual’s own history. Glucose, sleep, meals, and routines acquire meaning through their relationships over time. Omar’s combination of model development and data integration addresses the engineering behind that approach, including the challenge of retaining useful context as new information arrives and personal patterns change.

During nearly seven years as a computer engineer supporting Army research and engineering programs, Omar created and trained a containerized computer-vision system and contributed to research involving AI for signal processing and image generation. He also led data-distribution projects, building interfaces, translators, and redundant systems that allowed information to move between different technologies. His responsibilities extended to technical oversight of research initiatives and troubleshooting interoperability problems during major demonstrations.

Earlier work involved satellite-imagery processing, tools for collecting and organizing training imagery, and software for filtering and inspecting files. Across these projects, he encountered the practical consequences of inconsistent formats, integration failures, and incomplete information. That experience informs an engineering approach in which the quality of the surrounding system deserves as much attention as the model itself.

Omar earned a master’s degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating with a 4.0 GPA and a focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning. His graduate studies included computer vision, language transformers, cybersecurity, and distributed architectures. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.

For MATILDA’s AI work, the measure of usefulness extends beyond recognizing a pattern. The reasoning behind an insight must remain available for review, and recommendations must reflect the person’s circumstances. Omar’s role connects advanced model engineering with that requirement for understandable output, supporting exploration while leaving medical interpretation and treatment decisions with qualified clinicians.
